Vietnam Photography Tour

Start in charming Hanoi with ancient pagodas, lively streets, the photography tour then takes you to the mountainous hill station of Sapa where you will immerse in the rice terraces and french old buildings. After the unique touch to local villages and unique weekly market, we head south to learn about the glorious Hoi An town, stuffed with lantern and traditional works.
From Hoi An, we travel to Hue to photography the signature of Nguyen Dynasty including royal tombs and imperial palace. Depart from central Vietnam to the hub of Mekong, witnessing the unlike floating market, encountering rustic villages by this mighty river.
Conclude your tour by a photo day in Ho Chi Minh, taking everything into your lens from busy Cho Lon market to the old pagoda of Long Son pagoda

Day 01: Hanoi Arrival
Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel.
The remainder of this day is for your first touch of Hanoi street and get to know our photographer.
Accommodation: hotel in Hanoi
Meal: dinner 


Day 02: Hanoi – Duong Lam – Old Quarter
After breakfast, we leave Hanoi for the ancient village of Duong Lam. Here you will learn about Vietnam culture and tradition, while photographying the typical bee-brick houses and the rice field. Return to Hanoi for a discovery of Hanoi old quarter with a guided walk through its narrow streets and corners.

Day 03: Hanoi city. Overnight train to Lao Cai
Today, we focus on the highlights of Hanoi : Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Temple of Literature, Hanoi Hilton and Hanoi street food . For those who have special interest in french signatures, we will have an exclusive Hanoi architecture tour this day.
Taking overnight train to Lao Cai.

Day 04: Lao Cai - Cao Son – Sapa
Breakfast at a fine restaurant in Lao Cai city then we head north to Muong Khuong district where you are to participate in one of the famous weekly market: Coc Ly, Cao Son, Lung Khau Nhin or Muong Khuong. The market opens a chance to see Flower Hmong, Padi, Tay tribe in their traditional customs.
On the way to Sapa, we stop to visit a Dao Tien village and tea plantation. Your time in Sapa is left free to explore Sapa market

Day 05: Sapa photography day. Overnight train to Hanoi
Today, we will embark a trek to Muong Hoa valley, taking the best photos of rice terraces and Black Hmong village. We will travel by car to Hau Thao for the panoramic view of the valley before descend to Y Linh Ho for a hike to some secluded villages. The traditional work of making silk, dying with indigo and creating embroidery, clothes will be shown by local.
Return to Lao Cai city for the train back to Hanoi

Day 06: Hanoi – Halong Bay
Since we arrive early in the moring in Hanoi, we take time to know how Hanoi wakes up from its night market till morning excercises. Taking a breakfast like Hanoian before we head to Halong Bay.
Arrive at Ha Long City by midday where you will transfer to the Dragon’s Pearl Junk. This 11-cabin boat is modeled on the Indochina styled junks that used to sail these waters in earlier times. Enjoy a welcome drink and fresh seafood lunch while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay. There are nearly 2,000 limestone islets in the emerald waters of this massive UNESCO World Heritage Site. There is time to kayak, swim, or relax before dinner.

Day 07: Halong Bay – Cong Dam
Early rising means you will catch the haunting sunrise this morning in Halong.
Breakfast will be served outside on the deck. Then cruise to Cong Dam, where we have another opportunity for an early morning kayak through hidden lagoons and Cong Dam Ecological park. While lunch is being prepared, indulge in relaxation and photography at Tra Gioi Beach. Where better to enjoy your BBQ lunch but on the deserted beach. Mid-afternoon you will be taken in a rustic rowboat to meet the local people who call Cong Dam fishing village their home. Learn all about their daily life and visit the floating schools and fish farms. Pass through the lagoons as you return to the Dragon's Pearl Junk. Finish the day with dinner before retiring to your peaceful air-conditioned cabin

Day 08: Halong Bay – Thien Canh Son – Hoi An
This morning be ready for a swim at Thien Canh Son Cave, then it is time to enjoy your slow cruise and an a la carte lunch on board as you head back toward Hon Gai Harbor to disembark midday back at the pier. You will have a private car transfer to Noi Bai airport for your flight to Danang. Transfer through the coast line to arrive in Hoi An

Day 09: Hoi An photo tour
Enjoy your photo tour to Hoi An market, followed by a styled boat ride touring local fishing and pottery village.
Spend your time in the afternoon to shoot the images of this well-preserved Southeast Asian trading port and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your walking tour takes you from Japanese Bridget, or roofed bridge to Hoi Quan, the ancient meeting places, ancestral family homes, and some of the lovely and hidden pagodas.

Day 10: Hoi An – Hue
After breakfast, we enjoy a scenic drive to Hue, conquering the scenic pass of Hai Van where you have a stop to photograph the panorama of Lang Co beach.
Relax with a cyclo ride to appreciate the slow pace of life in Hue city.
Royal dinner will cultural show is the highlight of your evening.

Day 11: Hue photo tour
The first destination of the day is the royal tombs of two most favorites celebrating the rulers of the Nguyen dynasty, include Minh Mang, and Khai Dinh. Most of the tombs were designed by the emperors themselves, see how they both differ from each other and learn what their design tells you about the ruler. Have lunch at a restaurant specializing in Hue pancakes. Photograph the beautiful leaning tower of the famous Thien Mu Pagoda, given time we will have a one-hour trip on a wooden dragon boat along the Perfume River.

Day 12: Hue – Ho Chi Minh city tour
A short flight will bring you to Ho Chi Minh city this morning.
Ho Chi Minh is the rendezvous of fascinating southern culture where you still find the footage of French colonial charm, open lifestyle and traditional Vietnamese cultural remits. This busy city demonstrate its attractiveness from famous Reunification Palace to Central Post, Notre Dam Cathedral and exotic Cho Lon market.
Our phogographer will introduce you the core attractions of the city this day.

Day 13: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong Delta
Complete your southern experience with a trip to Cai Be floating market, the hub of Mekong delta. The trip is colorized by different activities and diverse encounters varying from market sights to fruitations, rice paper making to sampans ride.. all are included in your tour today after returning to Ho Chi Minh
