DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 01: Bangkok Arrival
On arrival in Bangkok, our Thailand representative will meet you for the hotel transfer.
The remainder of the day is left free for your own touch to Bangkok city.

Day 02: Bangkok city tour
Enjoy an introductory tour of Bangkok with a longtail cruise through the Thonburi klongs. Sightseeing stops are made along the way at Wat Arun and then at the incomparable Grand Palace where you will visit the majestic throne halls and mysterious Emerald Buddha.
This afternoon, we explore Vimarnmek Palace, the world’s largest teak building and conclude our day with a visit to the Marble Temple, Wat Benjamabophit, which features a fascinating fusion of Thai and European architectural styles.

Day 03: Bangkok - River Kwai
Rise up early for a scenic drive to Samut Songhkhram in the Mae Klong river delta area. Take your chance to witness the exotic market that take places along the railway tracks. We then continue our sightseeing to Tha Kha, one of the many floating markets where local people come together to sell their produce.
Relax with a paddle boat ride through the waterways, dropping by a typical family who makes coconut sugar syrup at their teak house. We sample a replicas of traditional Thai boxing before arriving at Rama II Park.
Proceeding to the JEATH Museum before taking a train ride along the infamous death railway line. Transfer to your hotel.

Day 04: River Kwai - Kanchanaburi – Ayuthaya
After breakfast, we head to Suphanburi via picturesque rice fields.Here, we have a chance to learn about the City Pillar shrine, and Wat Pa Lelai an 80 year-old temple with a huge seated Buddha.
Your trip today will bring you to Ang Thong province to witness the Sukhothai period reclining Buddha at Wat Pa Mok Worawihan on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River and Ban Bang Sadet village where Court Dolls are made by hand.

Day 05 :Ayuthaya - Sukhothai
Today, we catch the sunset in the ruined temples in Ayuthaya historical park. Visit Wat Pra Si San Phet, Wihan Pra Mongkhon Bophit and Wat Chaiwattanaram.
Our highlighted visit this afternoon covers Wat Mahathat, Wat Si Chum, Wat Sri Sawai and War Sra Sri and Wat Trapang Ngoen.

Day 06 :Sukhothai – Lampang – Chiang Rai
Start your day with a drive to Lampang via Sri Satchanalai, a smaller ruined citadel close to Sukothai. En route, we discover the Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, a sacred temple with a long history dated back to 1486 and is believed to be one of the oldest wooden buildings in Thailand.
Enjoy an orientation walk in Lam Pan to experience the traditional architecture before we continue to Chiang Rai.

Day 07 :Chiang Rai - Golden Triangle
Leave Chiang Rai for Mae Sai to see the Burmese border and behold the great view of Golden Triangle. A visit to Opuim Museum provides you a vivid knowledge of this area which was famous for opium trade.
Our guide will introduce you the ruined city of Chiang Saen and the heart of the Golden Triangle where the Ruak and the Mekong Rivers join.

Day 08 :Golden Triangle - Pakbeng
This morning, we depart Golden Triangle for Chiang Khong, the border point of Thai and Laos to embark a boat trip downstream to Houeixay.
Keep sailing in slow pace and observe the unspoilt nature by Mekong river banks.

Day 09 :Pakbeng – Pak Ou Caves - Luang Prabang
After breakfast, we continue our boat trip downstream to Pak Ou cave, home to thousands of Buddha statues gifted by Laostian.
The rest of your day is spent for exploring the highlight of Luang Prabang, one of the most fascinating Unesco World Heritage site in Laos.
Capture the haunting sunset over Mekong from Mt. Phousi before taste your welcome Laos dinner.

Day 10 :Luang Prabang
Full day city tour commencing from the former Royal Palace, now the National Museum. Stretching your legs to Wat Mai, a temple renowned for its golden bas-relief, then Wat Sensoukarahm; build in 1718 with its beautiful dazzling golden façade.
We finish the morning visit at Wat Xieng Thong
This afternoon, we proceed to Wat Visoun, the oldest temple of the city, and Wat Aham where we can find the altar of the 2 genius of Luang Prabang.

Day 11: Luang Prabang – Kuang Sii Waterfall – Hanoi
Your day is themed as a green day to jump into the wild swimming pool by Kuang Sii waterfall and taking a pleasant hike to visit Hmong people outside Luang Prabang.
A short flight will bring you to the busy capital of Hanoi this afternoon, transfer to your hotel.

Day 12: Hanoi city tour
We commence our sightseeing today from Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and a so-called museum which depicts the life of “ Uncle Ho” .
After that, we learn about the first university of Vietnam or known as temple of literature. Followingly, we visit Museum of Art before enjoy a delightful water puppet show.

Day 13: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Hanoi
A full day trip to Halong Bay, the most stunning World Heritage site in northern Vietnam, filled with 775 islets rising from the emerald water in the Gulf of Tonkin.
After the transfer, you will board a styled junk to set sail along the islands and explore Sung Sot cave. For active travellers, you are invited to join a kayaking trip revealing Halong’s hidden lagoon and floating cave. Return to Hanoi.

Day 14: Hanoi – Hue
A short flight will bring you to Hue this morning. The staff of www.vietnamtour.co.uk will welcome you at the airport for the discovery of Hue city.
The trip today takes you to the historic Imp Imperial Citadel, the Museum of Royal Relics and the Dong Ba market.
Enjoy a cyclo ride this evening to the restaurant where you will enjoy a Hue royal-style dinner.

Day 15: Hue – Danang – Hoi An
After breakfast, we continue exploring Hue’s highlights with a boat trip to Thien Mu pagoda then appreciate the architecture of Nguyen King’s tombs.
This afternoon, a scenic road trip through Hai Van pass, which is about 4900 foot high, boasting the most astonishing landscapes of sea and mountains in central Vietnam.
As we pass Marble mountain, you have a chance to drop by Cham museum before concluding your day in Hoi An.

Day 16: Hoi An – My Son
The Ancient town of Hoi An is infamous as a rendezvous of Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese trade during XIV centure. Nowadays, visitors still find its charm through ancient houses, traditional arts and unique cultural features.
The introductory tour of Hoi An today includes the temples of Phuoc Kien and Quang Dong and a 16th Century Japanese covered bridge.
In the afternoon, we appreciate the Cham relics in My Son heritage site and watch the sunset through its magnificent towers.
